Today, CNBC released its 2010 state-by-state rankings today and ranked Oklahoma the best Cost of Living state for a second year in a row! (For full disclosure: Oklahoma and Tennessee tied for first place in 2010.) Visit Oklahoma’s profile from CNBC’s “America’s Top States for Business 2010″:

Right now, the world, our nation, and our state are experiencing a slow economy; however, you need a roof over your head, and Oklahoma provides a solid place to hang your hat for the long-term. No state is perfect or permanently “the best” (no, not even Texas is perfect, you Texans ;). However, Oklahoma is consistent, partially buoyed by energy profits but also experiencing reasonable growth on a consistent basis instead of experiencing significant ups and downs in home values. During the past years of economic downturn and restructuring, Oklahoma has risen to the top of state rankings, a testimony to my belief that “the grass is not greener outside of Green Country” (yes, I made that up ;).
